Naiomy Günlüğü, 13 Tem 12

Well after all this time I'm gonna record what the scale says... Not sure what else to do but keep it moving bc I'm not gonna starve my way into a lower number anymore nor am I gonna stop exercising... So I'm gonna take it from here and hope I see progress soon... I'm dissapointed that It is up so high considering how much leaner I look but I'd rather not turn myself "skinny fat"... :)

Remember, the mirror trumps the scale! If you look leaner and clothes fit better, that is what counts!

@ hcb yeah i agree.. sucks to see the jump but i can feel and see the difference.. i'll take the gain and start from here.. :)

agree - nobody should work for skinny fat just to hit a magic number.

Muscle tissue weighs more than fat tissue! Don't let some stupid machine discourage you. Take a look at your picture when you decided to work towards a healthier body. It's a journey with up and downs, bumps in the road may occur, But if you tried on a dress that fit great before and now it makes you look like miss frumpy, that's definite progress! You're doing effin'awesome! (btw, look at my weight history from the end of june to today. See? It happens to all of us!)

@ CJT i know and i think just kinda keepin off the scale for a bit has gotten me more focused.. yeah i had a gain, but i've been dealing with fluctions for over 2 months! so if i'm finally eating what i'm supposed to be and not living in fear that one bite will send the scale in a frenzy, and now getting active i would rather lose slow and steady but the right way then to fight to get to my goal just to see a number but look like crap... i'm happy with how i look.. and i'm goign to keep this up for a while... :).. @ jess absolutely... me today at 176 and me a couple years ago at 165? total difference.. i look way leaner and toner now.. i'll take that. :)

Hell ya! And hey, what you gained is what I can gain in a night. Don't sweat it. Well, ya, sweat it out!!! Burpees for 10 minutes. You'll drop a pound just from that hahaha

Ok, here's my challenge; 10 minutes of burpees. Doesnt matter how many, just 10 minutes worth. I'll do mine tonight before my back and bis workout. Are you guys in?

hahah! Oh, cmon, Erika, they're not THAT bad. Ya, ok, they're tough after a while... so in this challenge, when you're pooped and can't lift yourself off the floor, stop and record the time :D Naiomy; a burpee is a full body workout. Excellent for conditioning and increasing cardiovascular capacity! Here's how ya do it: Stand tall, drop down to the floor in one motion so you land on all four with your back straight, do a pushup, bring both knees up to your chest in one motion, pop yourself back to the standing position, jump up in the air with your hands held high. That's one. Sounds harder than it is ;) Look up a video. Then tell me if you're still game.

K! I did mine today. Started gassing at 15 burpess but trudged on through for the whole 10 minutes somehow. Completed 89 of those things. I was sweating like crazy afterwards!

Just got home from the bar and have 4 inch heels on, I'm not doing any damn burpees... ;)

I had to jog/walk 10 blocks in flip flops & swimsuit coverup tonight. no burpees!

I guess I'm the only one who did them? Guess I'll have to do them again today! Bwahaha!

@ CJT.. yes i was guilty of not doing them, however.. i did do a super intense crossfit work out saturday that almost murderized me.. does that count?
