Questions for my buddies: Has anybody else had issues with bruising easily after beginning a new diet and fitness lifestyle? I feel like I've been bruising immensely and easily, specifically on my legs. 13 bruises altogether between both legs. Is this a vitamin deficiency? Is this happening to anybody else as well?
This week has gone relatively well. I always trip myself up when I go back to California for a visit with the parents and my sisters. I stayed on track, with one fast food exception. I suppose one cheat every so often can't kill a lifestyle completely, but usually, it's the first step to destruction. I take that one bite and I go crazy for a week. I need to keep myself in line.
Another question: I weigh my lowest I have been since probably the beginning of high school, 10 years ago. I know I am at my healthiest physically. But, I feel like I am more unattractive than I was at my heaviest 7 1/2 months ago. I don't know. I'm just not used to a newer body, and I have no clue how to dress it. At least before my new lifestyle, I knew exactly how to dress that body in the most flattering way possible. Now, my clothes are almost consistently slightly baggy (I lose an average of 10 pounds a month, why buy new clothes?, and even when I do, they lose their fit so quickly!) Maybe it's that. Maybe it's because I miss the curves. Maybe it's an identity crisis in the making. It's just not something I was expecting or saw coming. Is this happening to anybody else? How are you coping with it?
