After yesterday's weigh in I was depressed so I went out and ate whatever I wanted to for a day. I went to Applebees and ate chicken penne pasta. It was good too. I have now come back to reality and on track again. I must try harder, I don't know what happened last week. I am not sure I like the FS diet over the extreme. With the extreme it gives more structure to follow and a menu. All I have to do now is find my book. I know it is here somewhere. Maybe that will help.

Don't be too hard on yourself, 2 lbs is nothing - it could be just water weight. I am thinking about doing both FS and EFS at the same time. Do one week of FS and then do one week of EFS. I agree, I like the EFS because it was more structured, but I had more success w/FS. Which ever one you choose I know you'll do just fine, keep your chin up!

Hey miss thang! The sprit is willing but the flesh is weak...You should be proud of yourself that you feel Guilty! I know that sounds crazy but think back to a time when you ate unhealthy and you were really out of controll and this negative self destructive behavoir didnt bother you one bit! and now youve had a couple of off days and it feels like months and it drives you nuts. That is progress honey!!! Be encouraged girl! You can do this! Just think before we know it summer will b here, we'll be looking good and having having fatfree no calorie margaritas(I know no such thing but I can dream damnit!) thinking I did it and it was worth it! In peace whopper

Did you know your weight could fluctuate by 5 pounds over a month because of water retention caused by hormone fluctuations in the menstrual cycle?

Thanks for all the comments. I know it was probably water, but I was depressed anyway and used my depression to go eat whatever I wanted over the weekend. I am back on track today, and even walked at lunch today 1 1/4 miles. So I am back to trying again. We shall see how I do on weigh in next Saturday. Thanks again for all the encouraging words of wisdom.
