Hey everyone. I’m beginning to notice that I’m making healthier choices and my ability to say no and walk away is growing stronger. There are 4 Slices of pizza left over in the kitchen and instead of eating a slice or all 4, I ate my sons pepperonis instead. This is a victory for me. Small victory, but none the less my victory for the day. One day at a time, just like recovery. I enjoy reading your posts and recipes and struggles because it makes me stronger. A victory is a victory no matter how big or small! Well done! Pizza is something I can’t pass up so I use portion control. If we can watch tv it helps because I get that one plate of 1-3 pieces and I don’t want to miss the show to get another slice from the other room ;). By the time I can get one the food has settled and I don’t feel as hungry. Just have to have hubby put up the leftovers so I’m not tempted again with he smell if it’s still warm!

Still gets me how eating right, give this kind of magic power. There was a time I wish for a pill that could give me this sort of self control. Now I know, all that's needed is to keep the carbs very low, and sweet on zero. Not hard either, as we get to eat the good tasty stuff.
