I allowed myself somewhat of a “cheat meal” for dinner tonight. An indulgence if you will. I still kept my dinner fairly healthy but allowed myself to indulge in a 4oz steak and a cherry Coke Zero. I’m honestly still trying to find a lifestyle change or “diet” that works for me and still allows me to have what I like. I’m so used to eating whatever and not caring about the outcome but now, as I work with a nutritionist, I’ve come to realize that I care more about what I eat now and it can stress me out and cause anxiety attacks. Like with the pizza I ate the other night...instead of saying to myself “enjoy it, you eat it once in a while, not every week anymore,” I completely freaked out. I went cold turkey on soda and as a caffeine/sugar addict, it’s been incredibly hard. While I have come to love drinking water (sparkling, flat, with/out lemon or lime), I still do occasionally crave soda. I’ve opted for the nasty sugar/calorie free stuff now and have found 2 that somewhat taste like the real stuff, I only allow that once in a blue moon
