Supplements. What supps do you use and swear by?
I use: 1. A multivitamin 2. Fish oil 3. B-complex 4. Magnesium/Zinc/Calcium
I sometimes take green tea supps for a little extra energy since I don't sleep well at all. And I really should be taking glucosamine since I'm so active outdoors and well, pretty rough with my body.
So, what have you been using? Have any of them given you noticeable improvements?

I take fish oil (when I remember) and Vit D after finding out I have a severe deficiency but that's it. I'm probably at the age that a mlti would be a good idea. I do take Tonalin CLA also. It's not really a supliment but I do see a difference when I don't take it.

Glucosamine/Chondroitin and Fish Oil. . . can really tell if I miss a few days.

That tonalin stuff sounds interesting... Skirch, what differences do you observe when you don't take glucosamine? My body is definitely telling me I need more joint, fascia, and tendon/ligament support!

I've only been taking a Men's health one a day. With all the primal stuff, been questioning the quality of the ingredients. What brand/type do you take?

Questioning quality is definitely wise. I buy the brands that you can get on base. It's hard to really tell if they're doing anything or not. But after my knee injury last year, I swear the glucosamine/chondroitin did wonders for my ligament healing.

Fish Oil, CoEnzyme Q10, Magnesium, Potassium, Acidophilus, Chromium, D3. My orthopedist had recommended the glucosamine/chondroitin for years, and then a few years ago he stopped. He said there was a study done that showed no improvement.

I take a multivitamin (Centrum Silver Ultra Women), Iron (I am slightly anemic right now) and I have been trying Glucosamine for a couple months now and don't notice any difference. My doctor told me to get a bottle of it and use it to see if I noticed any difference with my knee. He said it seems to work for some people but not all.

Cool stuff. I suppose when it comes to supplements that it's really more for preventative body maintenance. Definitely wise in the long run.

CJT - I have a lot less joint pain, almost to the point of none and more flexibility in my knees when I'm using the glucosamine on a regular basis. I got my hubby on it too as he has ankle pain (sprains and breaks) and he swears by it too.
