Did a Fun Run 5K at Oakleaf Athletic Center this last week end. Took home the 1st place award for Best Creative Roll Division. I guess it was more roll than run: I pulled a Homemade Rickshaw with a stuffed Tiger as a passenger for the 3 miles. Not bad time, either! My weight: 155, My harness and water bag: 7 pounds, My Rickshaw: 60 pounds (at least) 3.1 miles - 33 minutes. New plan: Monday 30 minutes at Oakleaf, Thursday: Lake Asbury area 30 minutes. Saturday: 2.5 hours 218 to Penney Farms back to 218. That would be approximately 20 miles weekly until season begins in October. With all the stuff that's needing done around the house, running's going to take second fiddle for a while...
