I've only tried sushi once and didn't really care for it but I have friends who love it. Take care of yourself! 

YUM on the sushi, except for the spicy part! (I'm such a wimp..) - sorry your tendon is still being a bugger, hope it heals up soon! 

Four pants sizes is awesome! I'm glad you're being cautious with that Achilles ; that kind of injury can drag on if you don't let it heal properly; my partner still has problems. You are doing so well even with the frustration of not being able to do your regular level of exercise : you rock! I think I've lost 10 inches off my waist, and I still don't have one, lol! 

Your journey is amazing - you go flaunt those pants now and have a good evening. 

Well, you know what 14 means? It means you can shop in ALL of Macy's departments, not just Women's Size. I didn't even know how to shop in a department store, I was so lost when I first hit 14s. Have fun with it, enjoy and relish in how good it feels! On the Achilles, my daughter wore a boot for 2 weeks and it healed a lot faster. I hope yours gets better fast! 

That's awesome that you are now in a size 14!! you must feel amazing and probably been getting alot of compliments too... :D Enjoy your shopping trips... Keep up the inspirational work. 

Spicy tuna rolls are sooooo good! Except some places put the tempura in it, thereby making it way unhealthy :( 4 pants sizes = awesome! Getting new pants is wonderful to show it off! 

I have tried to like sushi - I've tried all different kinds at many different restaurants - but I still am not a fan. I wish I was because my daughter and my husband love it. Soy sauce is one of the worst high sodium offenders out there, even the "low sodium" variety. I don't know how long it takes to wash excess sodium out of our systems but I would bet it takes more than a day, even with lots of water. I hope your tendon gets better soon - I live in fear of getting an injury that would keep me from my exercise. Maybe you could focus on some upper body stuff - weights, planks, push ups. Congrats on the new jeans - four pants sizes down is a fantastic accomplishment!

I am a total dilettante when it comes to sushi. I only like California Roll, or cucumber or avocado roll. I really don't go for the raw tuna and such. I don't eat a whole lot of it anymore because of the rice and the carbs. I envy you that. Also, congratulations on size 14! Size 14 is like getting let out of your holding pen in the Women's department - you are now free to roam the grounds at will, so to speak. Getting into size 14 when you are shopping is like getting out of the psychological ghetto of the plus size department. Really, really super sad that it works that way. That's one of the reasons I've always loved shopping at Old Navy, because ON hangs ALL their sizes together on EVERY STYLE - they offer from size 0 to 20, and trust and believe, you go to get a pair of jeans, the 0's are there right through to the 20's. You go to get a sweater and the XXS that fits a 0 is folded right there along with every other size right up to the XXL that would fit an 18 or a 20. I absolutely love that about Old Navy and it's a huge reason why I shop there and so many women who are not typical "teeny boppers" shop there. I am a lot more open to new fashion trends that a lot of other women my age, and I feel at home in the Old Navy environment, but I soooo, SO appreciate that when I WAS almost a size 18, I could go into Old Navy and get something cute, stylish, comfortable, in my size and that would hold up well to washing and wearing and I didn't have to feel like I was excluded from ANYTHING. 

Love that you are down 4 pant sizes- that must feel amazing to try on 14's and they fit!!! Hope your achilles heals soon- it is frustrating for you I'm sure not being able to get your usual exercise in. Take care and heal quickly :)
