Well the weight loss has been slow however "it" is not the only reason I have decided to use a Ketogenic diet. My type two diabetes has been resolved with normal blood sugars no matter when I take the reading.
I've lost 6 inches off my waist and all my old clothes fit again. So I'm happy to lose inches and/or weight. Either way it will happen. I've come to far to turn back now.

This is a great example of how you might not lose on the scale but there are ancillary benefits to the Ketogenic diet. The weight WILL come off but it could take a while, after all we didn't wake up one morning with an extra XXX lbs.

Metabolically, I have learned that when a fat cell loses it's contents and shrinks it almost always fills back up with serum. (This water and salt). No one knows why it does it. This serum weighs the same or less than the original fat cell, BUT the water drains away after a time. This is why you can lose 1 or 2 lbs in one day, which would otherwise be impossible.

Intermitted fasting can cause a diuretic effect and you can lose "water weight" that way as well. But don't do it too often. Sweating and exercise can help. All in all it is a positive thing to learn about what your body does and how it does it.

Great information. I have noticed the whoosh effect as well. Great news about your diabetes. It is a very healthy diet
