Happy Monday, I have a road trip for work this week, so eating right is always a challenge when I'm not at home. I think I have it figured out though, and eating LCHF is a lot easier than counting calories when I'm traveling.

Hopefully some of these school districts will want to do what's right and help me get these dropouts back in school. I know there is a lot of pressure on the superintendent to make their districts look successful, and these are kids that are gone and not affecting them anymore. It's hard to face problems that are out of sight, and that is my job. I'll just keep at it!

Hi there. Thanks for checking in on me. I am starting to feel human again and I even came out of my jammie-jam cave to go to work today. When will you be back? Maybe we could go hiking again sometime soon. I gotta burn off all this extra glycogen, hehe.

Hi Erin, I'll just be gone T-W-Th, so lets go hiking this weekend. I've found more interesting trails, and I would highly suggest getting hiking poles if you are going to do this regularly. Your arms do some of the work, taking pressure off legs and especially for me, knees. Plus, you are much less likely to fall when you pick up the pace. I've fallen on those rocks before, it's not fun. Glad you are feeling better, I posted on your journal too.

Didn't mean to pick on you Saturday! I only use the low GI to refine the low carb - not to replace it. Besides, if you've ever seen my weight graph you'll see I'm in no position to tell any one else how they should eat. Good luck dealing with food on your road trip - that is always stressful!
