Started at the gym this past Tuesday and went for an hour on Tuesday & Wednesday. Did treadmill and bike. First morning, I changed my sneakers to an old pair of new balance, because my husband said my Sketchers Resistance were not good for treadmill. They ate thru my heels and gave me blisters and cuts. Had to cut my treadmill experience down a half hour. Biked for the other half hour. Tuesday, I wore open back sneakers to avoid the irritation but they irritated my heels a bit from friction. Spent 35 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the bike before my ass started to hurt. Spent the rest of the time stretching hamstrings on the floor. By the time I got home on Wed my right leg, above my knee in the back was hurting, I aggravated a hamstring. Legs felt like jelly the whole day. Later in the day, had to climb onto a big bean bag chair to get the cat and lost my balance and fell. My left thigh hit the futon arm next to the bean bag and bruised me pretty good. Spend all day yesterday on my balance ball instead of my office chair to compensate for the lack of moving around. Will attempt to do this again today, despite not going to the gym this morning. Will still do my stretches to release the lactic gas in the muscles and improve circulation after a good meditation.
