Day full of dr. visits, and all went well. I am on track for once monthly chemo (5days/mo) using higher doses of temodar. Proper warnings of nausea, 'backin up' and post chemo cycle fatigue that I am to plan for.First post-radiation MRI is being scheduled, likely to be near end of March, and then every thee months for next couple of years> (yes, no comment!). Chemo agents based on scan results.
Discussed Psychological issues w/ Neuro. more resources for counseling and rx for a SSI. Start if desired or if wifey demands, lol. After coming off of Cymbalta(rx for pain), I got weepy for several days> Took a few days to correlate.
Epileptologist doesn't want to start titrating off of seizure meds for another couple months. My rash symptoms seem to be declining with the steroid 'grease for peace' campaign, so I am ok w/ Epi's plan. No Mo' Seizures ! No Mo' Seizures ! No Mo' Seizures !
In other news today I was xtra fatigued. Not sure of cause; lack of sleep last night? 'ketosis flu' from diet? Extra exercise recently? electrolyte issues from inadequate supplementation--(again from modified atkins). Blood Sugar Has been good, about a 90 avg. Labs are good. Mod Atkins diet is going very well> Feel like I am gettin in the groove! Fatsecret makes it easy!!!
I did take Ca/Mg/K supps last night in a tea The K+ made it like a salty broth, not bad.
TO-Dos: Need to restart FULL supplement regime Exercise & PT tomm, Do housework and business work during day tomm--Be productive! Tonight- spend Qual time w/ wifey! Get to sleep on time w/ ambien wake my great boy in morning , singing "get up, get up, you sleepy head" song.He will remember and sing to his children. Just like my father did. (teardrop)
