Well, I am finally back to fatsecret after over a year away. You are probably wondering what caused me to finally come back (besides the weight gain that is). Well, it is because I feel like crud! My stress at work has increased twofold (feels like even more some days) which zaps all of my energy and I have no time/energy to think about myself. Well enough is enough. I know I feel better when I eat healthy so why am I eating junk all the time and making bad food choices. Probably because it is easier and provides some sort of emotional comfort to me. Well, you know what? I would rather be healthier AND feel good about myself instead of not being healthy and getting very limited emotional comfort. I have hit my rock bottom and it can only go up from here. Looking forward to catching up with my buddies (if you will still have me) and looking forward to making some new buddies.

HEY GIRL! Welcome back, nice to see a friendly face! I came back around February, heck, almost all of us went and came back for a while LOL. Sorry about rock bottom, that was me last December/January, so far so good, so FS is working for me again! You will start to feel better, I know you are soooo busy. Glad you are back.

Thanks for the warm welcome Lizzy. I thought about you every time I woke up with a headache/heart pounding/jittery feeling...LOL,in a good way of course... your words of wisdom about not having a lot of carbs/sugar before bed really stuck with me but I have to say I still ate too much of them before bed. My husband even remembered what you told me about needing more protein in my diet. I just couldn't get out of the rut. I have finally dug my way out. Looking forward to catching up with you!

Hi and welcome back. I'm a Newbie here, and looking for buddies, too! It's funny how much food can affect us apart from our weight. I've felt like crud too the past year, and just in the past month (since being told I should go on Diabetes medication -- Un...no!)committed myself to a better life. I can always use the extra support, and this is a great way to meet buddies who understand the changes I'm making. Looking forward to cheering you on! ~ Adrienne
