I just got back from shopping.

My answer to my last journal post is: Yes shopping does burn calories.

I walked for over 4 hours from store to store to place to place. Now I remember why it was easier to keep weight off when I was younger and didn't drive!
AHHHH walking.
It was great and I didn't have my son so it was much easier.
I was peeved that Chapters didn't have any of the books I wanted, but I guess that's what Amazon.com is for.

I tried to have this low cal stir fry with shrimp on it from this fast food Japanese place in the food fair at one of the malls.
Jesus! The prawns were too undercooked, the veggies were gross and the rice was hard. I hardly ate any of it, but I still put down some calories for it.

This resulted in me later getting immensely hungry and having one of those vanilla icecream bars dipped in chocolate. Yes it was very very good and still within calories.
You just have to have a treat on one day of the week, especially if you're triggered by something like having a miserable lunch.
