I also have gained quite a bit since the stay at home order. I just lost my job when it all started to happen here. I had a part time job set up for April but that has fallen through. Maybe by August, they said. But nothing is for sure. I've been away from this site and just let things go. I am now back. I really appreciate your honesty and post & I'm going to borrow your 4 Ds Desire, Dedication, Determination, Discipline. Thank you for posting and stay safe :-)

I am sorry you lost your job. Hopefully this virus outbreak will be over soon. It has caused so much heart break for so many people. Thank you for your kind post.

sounds like me! stepmom in Feb 2018 after being ill for quite awhile. daughter suddenly in Oct 2018. brother unexpectedly jan 2019. mother unexpectedly 3 weeks later. mother in law March 2019. dad suddenly Sept 2019. the emotional eating is crazy!

I think we all have things that happen in life and unfortunately some of us (myself included), eat out of emotion. Give yourself permission to acknowledge what happened, forgive yourself, and start again. I think one of the hardest things is that pounds come of easily for some and harder for others (I fall into this category). I have failed this week. I chalk it up to Easter eating, and being stuck inside. I am starting over again. As much as I would like to get on that scale on Sunday and be down 5 lbs, chances are I will still gain this week or be down 1/2 lb. Baby steps...that is what we need to remember. I can tell you that you are capable of doing this and you are worth it. Hugs!

Oh thank you for all of you...I really needed this thread today. Please just keep coming here and start again each day to look to the good we can do for all in our lives...no matter the condition. I am extremely grateful today. Proud of my friends and family here and on line💝

I'm so glad you are here. It seems as if life keeps piling it on and that can lead to a loss of motivation (that's when I gain weight). You know what to do, you've done it before and this is just another step. Losing weight and keeping it off is a process and it's part of your journey in life. This is a place of support, information and help. Glad to came on!

Thank you for sharing ❤️ You're so brave to share all.of that, and it's motivating. I need to get off 30lbs. Just joined today. Currently weigh 219. Have been as low as 175 (about six years ago), I just want to get back to 190. I'm going to be 43 in June, and boy does it get harder with age!
