SturgeonQueen Günlüğü, 20 Eki 10

Well I didn't work out yesterday, I didn't even finish recording my food or exercise... I didn't do a real workout, but I played with Spencer a lot. Again today all I can do to record playing fetch with the dog is fishing because of the throwing and tugging. We probably played for an hour-ish. We will probably go for a nightly walk around the property a little later, after I workout.

I'm guessing the Biggest Loser workout will be around 30 minutes again. I'm apparently not doing the workouts right because in 25 minutes it says I burn like 22 calories - which obviously, isn't right. I'm doing strength training AND cardio, and sweating like crazy. I tend to classify it as light or heavy calesthenics because it's probably closer. I think one of the issues is my Reebok Easy Tones because of the shape of the bottoms of the shoes, they don't put pressure on the balance board in the right spots sometimes.

Just ate a pretty big dinner that I need to record. Going to let that settle for a while before I workout.

Playing with the new pup is great exercise and way more important than working out! And yes your shoes are probably giving you the false reading on the cals burned!

Haha thanks hun!! I am holding my breath to hear my father flip out on me when he comes and visit this coming weekend... I'm hoping he'll just realize it's a nice dog... and not want to kill me for taking him in...

I have the same problem with that game, I have done every thing from going barefoot to shoes in hopes of changing it but I haven't been able to and I know from the work out I have done I burned more 20 calories.

Pixi - then maybe it's the actual game. I think the Wii Active might be a TAD generous at times, but I think it's MUCH closer. I'd believe the Biggest Loser game more for the warm ups and cool downs (though their warm up gets my heart going) being low calorie burn... but, I mean, according to FS - I burn more calories sitting on my butt for 25 minutes than in the Biggest Loser game. AH well! I KNOW it's working cause I can feel it, and since I'm not a "new" exerciser, I'm pretty used to the actions they want me to do, so I think I'm doing okay. Just not relying on Jillian Michaels to give me all the calories I burn, lol she's too mean! :D j/k
