keep plugin and chugin. I like waiting the week for the scale I don't even think about it until Sunday after my work out I take a shower get nice and dry (don't want any water left may through the weight off :-) and weigh in. As far as knowing if you hitting it hard or not and if you need to pump it up the next day. Go hard everyday and the results you are looking for will come just have a little faith. Get Fit People!
