The new avatar is Ginger's best buddy Dante. He made the trip 1100 km to see Ginger. Ginger has known him since he was a puppy. Dante is actually a hospital therapy dog in Edmonton. He belongs to my son. Nice for him to come visit.

He has a very scary look to him. He's so blocky. (His head's not actually that big, lol.) He's about 80 pounds and is as gentle a dog as I've ever met. He and Ginger used to chase each other around and take turns biting at each others throats and switching between being dominant and passive the way dogs will. Now they wander quietly through the yard together and she gets lots of kisses. He knows. :( Damn tears.

Ginger is having a down day. Everyone else is going hiking. They're taking Dante. Ginger and I will stay home and have a quiet day of sitting on the deck, reading, sniffing around the perimeter of the lawn and pooping in the back corner of the property. You have to figure out who's doing what. *smirk*
