I've been pretty quiet here for a while. Got away from tracking, too. It's a pain in the neck, but it's helpful.
Maybe it's the people I've chosen to follow, but I appreciate the voices of sanity here. I was on MyFitnessPal for a while, and some of the people on the forums were out of control. I asked a simple question: for a 1-cup USDA serving of lettuce, how tightly is that packed. The responses were along the line of YOU HAVE TO WEIGH YOUR LETTUCE HOW CAN YOU EVER EXPECT TO LOSE WEIGHT IF YOU DON'T WEIGH YOUR LETTUCE??? I'm looking at this thinking...it's like 8 calories a cup. I try to be as accurate as possible, but it's silly to think you'll have it down to the calorie.
So thank you, those who've supported me and have kept their heads on straight about it all. 😊
