Strawberries, soy Greek yogurt, oats, flax & pumpkin seeds. Only 8 g fiber, but 24 protein. I'm recording the yogurt as 0% Fage dairy, because there's no such creature as Greek soy in the database & it's the closest I can find

Looks good. You can add the yogurt to the database

I've added recipes in the app, but never a food item. How do you do it? Do I need to get on the desktop version. Not sure how I'll figure out the nutritional content, but I'll probably have to compare dairy regular vs Greek and calculate similar proportions from regular soy

There are soy yogurts in the data base but maybe not your brand. For the app I scan the barcode. If nothing comes up you can add it. You can use the search function to find it when you look under food.

There's actually no brand because it's homemade. I don't know if anyone even manufactures soy Greek. At least, I've never seen it. I'll try the barcode option, aim it at my kitchen counter, and see if it lets me do it. Thanks!

Ohhh. OK that is different. Then you would have to use the cookbook feature

I actually think the add new food might work better. The issue with a recipe is that I pour off the whey, which takes away some nutrients. It's a weird one! 😉

Why don’t you just stir the whey back into the yogurt before you scoop some out. The whey is where much of the nutrition is.

That's a thought, but I prefer it thicker.

Tim - I love both nuts and seeds, and it's a rare day I don't eat some. I've found the seeds have more protein for the amount of calories, although nuts have their benefits, and I certainly work those in, too. The pumpkin seeds are one of the better vegan sources of zinc. Plus I just plain love 'em 😋
