Cod in the freezer that's probably been in there too longish. Not bad exactly, but probably not at its best. I'm too cheap to not use it up. Any good recipe ideas for sauces to kind of mask the flavor? To make sure we get our Omega 3s, we've gone back to our Roman Catholic roots and are trying to eat fish on Fridays 🐟🐟🐟 Doubt I'll buy frozen again, as we really like the wild-caught Alaskan canned salmon. We make baked salmon patties out of it

A fresh pico de gallo: chopped onion, tomato, jalapeño stir in lime juice, cilantro, and salt to taste. You can always add pineapple, avocado, cucumber or mango to the basic recipe.

Karen that sounds great - I would char some corn tortillas and cut up cabbage and make tacos!!

make a sauce with sautéd onion, bell pepper, garlic and tomatoes and simmer your fish in that until just firm, do not over cook.

Alas, hairbag, my husband doesn't care for hollandaise. shirfleur -- another good suggestion. I'm sensing a consensus of various iterations of tomato concoctions here, so I'll likely head in that direction 😃

Mix soy sauce and wasabi together until dissolved and use it as a dip. Wasabi always masks the strongest of rank fish scents.

Honey sriracha would be good. I do fish on Fridays during Lent and then it varies the rest of the time. Sometimes, it is Mondays, calling it meatless Monday!:)
