It's less dangerous than it might look. I'm on metal edged skis with heavy boots and am pretty experienced. VERY cognizant of my limits! I stay a safe distance back from the edge and don't go anywhere that's not within my ability. Try not to, anyway 😉

Thanks, Diana and 3dkids2 😊 MimiDP -- we've had a lot of snow this year. It does complicate getting up to the trails because the roads are often too bad for the drive, but the actual skiing conditions up there have been great, for the most part! 😃

Have fun, otb! 😃 I haven't been downhill skiing in years, and have been trying to talk my husband into going. The downhill area is farther than the cross country trails, and lift tickets would be a bit of a splurge for us (we're pretty frugal). I'll keep working on him 😉
