Quick vegetarian, lower-salt "refries." A can of no-salt pintos, drained but not rinsed, and some green salsa, mushed up with a potato masher. I add a little bit of salt, but not nearly as much as I'd get in a can of vegetarian refries at the store.

I came back from my mini-vacation a little lighter than I left, but yesterday was a blowout. Too much work stress and not good enough coping mechanisms. Today is a new day, and a little less stressful. 160 days until retirement. Can't wait!

I asked my boss for a standing afternoon off through the rest of hiking season so that my husband and I can go up during the week. Looking forward to getting some hikes in. This weekend is rainy (remnants of the hurricane), so it'll be a good weekend to hunker down and get some volunteer work done on the computer.
