What kind of apples? I’m going to be purchasing apple, nectarine and pear trees. I wanted dwarf trees but my daughter wants standard size. 

Thanks, redporchlady! opal, if I knew, I'd tell you. No clue. The apple tree was there in the yard when we bought the house in 2006. We've never seen a crop of apples on it like this before. We think it's because it's been a rainy year for us

Homegrown apples are the best. Crisp n juicy and the flavor is never lacking 👌

We used to have a contraption that was made from a wire hanger duct taped to a broomstick handle for our fruit trees. Squeezed the two ends together in the shape of a V, slip it around the fruit and gentle tug.

Oh, yes, they are tasty! Especially now that I've figured out how to only get the ripe ones 🤣 Katsolo -- that's a great idea. If we have a crop like this next year, I may have to have my husband make something like that. Honestly, we've never gotten more than a handful of apples off this tree before
