Interesting and true. Will power will not often be a long term strategy. Rewards are important and often the things we need have to be worked for and don't provide instant gratification like harmful things that provide instant gratification. This would apply to me yesterday. LOL.

Worthwhile 6 minutes…thanks Writingwyo for sharing. I feel if we learn more about the reasons behind Bad & Good habits…..we can be kinder to ourselves and others. Understanding that we are Not failures, Not unintelligent, or lazy or lacking because we repeated 'bad habit's, will help those of us, who recognize our struggles! Delayed gratification has never been my strong point. a tough thing for anyone with any addictive tendencies!

Glad you both found it helpful. I sure did. Can't guarantee I'm going to break all my bad habits overnight, but it certainly gives me another thing to keep in mind
