Have been on a 5 day no carb diet. Have done quite well on it. Thing is yesterday was the last day. Now I just have to stay on the ball. I do very well sticking to a low carb/ keto/ paleo lifestyle. Not on it as much to lose weight as to stay healthy. I've cut my metformin in half, my glucose is normal range now, my BP is great, and even though it still hurts I can walk further. Thanks for all the support.

There was a weight lifting guy on a podcast I heard recently that said It's not about avoiding carbs, it's about earning those carbs. Carbs are important, but less if you aren't doing exercise or weights to NEED them. And generally only then. Gratz on the glucose!
