After a bit of wandering in the wilderness, time to start cleaning up my diet and tracking again. Oats, chia, flax, soymilk, apple and pumpkin seeds. A little cashew cream in my coffee. Need to get a decent lunch packed. Onward! :D

I think we have to go into the wilderness from time to time. I had taken it two and a half month break from recording. The second month I gained 5 lb the first month I lost a pound and a half. But it was nice to take a break. I'm actually enjoying recording my food again.

Need help. If I eat only meat, dairy and nuts. would that be keto? I like a cup of coffee w milk in the morning. Please folks, help me.

Same, kind of…. Been eating not so great for a few months now… it’s feeling good to be eating nice healthy foods again. Yay 😊

Thanks, all :) wsdp -- don't want to get too carried away with gain because it's cross country ski season and every extra pound I have to haul uphill makes it a little harder. Jipper -- you'll find a lot of keto folks on here, but I am totally the wrong person to ask, as I'm a veg-head anti-keto (at least for myself personally) type. Lost 20 pounds eating more than 50% of my calories from carbs. You can have my bread and fruit when you pry it from my cold dead hands, LOL. honeebuns... November was indeed rough. December's still touch and go. Still dealing with family stressors, and I have retirement staring me in the face. I'm looking forward to it, but it's still a huge change.

November was hard for me too. Jipper500: if you want to go Keto you can find lots of Youtube videos. That's where I started learning, but I started Intermittent Fasting at the same time. I never made it completely Keto but lost the weight that I wanted at that time. I should think about starting up again. I'm finding it difficult to discipline myself strictly right now. Good thing I'm still Intermittent Fasting about 16 hours a day. I just skip breakfast and wait till about noon to eat. It's really good for us.
