Good morning. It's January 1, 2024. I've let myself go again; enjoyed every minute of it though!! There's something about Thanksgiving in October which makes me just let go of any seriousness and discipline I've had so far. Maybe it's the chillier weather moving in, maybe it's the knowledge that swimsuit season is over, maybe it's thinking about all the food-based holidays coming up around the corner: Thanksgiving, Christmas potlucks, Christmas dinner, Christmas parties. Anyway, I've gone up from 132 sexy lbs when I started my new job in March 2023 to cellulite, jiggles and a double chin at 141 not sexy lbs this morning. It's 6:45 and I've done a treadmill walk and had a coffee so far. I told myself to get on the treadmill for 30 mins every day but I don't think I'll have the motivation or interest to go downstairs and walk for half an hour every single day. Boring although very effective when I stick with it. You'd think I'd learn by now about sticking with it. I'm getting older now and although the weight comes off when I focus and work hard, it's coming off slower than it used to even though the goal gets achieved. I know WALKING, PORTION SIZE, SUGAR, and GREENS are the keys for me. Away we go!
