Well, I've been gone and gained and lost a few pound here and there. I need to get back at this and be consistent. Don't know about journaling what I eat because I get kind of bored with it. I stared dieting again on Saturday, 8/13/11 and have already lost 5.8 pounds. Wanted to do the HCG thing and my doctor said no. Actually she said "I DON'T WANT YOU ON THE HCG DIET. NO YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ANYTHING ELSE WITH YOUR MEDS" She's so funny. This was after a few emails back and forth. So, I guess there is no quick fix for me. Just gotta "get er done"

I am glad to see you back, Debbie! You're off to a great start, but as you said consistency is necessary to achieve long term weight loss. What you with recording food, or jounalling is your choice and you can do whatever you like. I must say that I emphatically agree with your doctor about the HCG diet. I usually don't have feelings about other people's diets, especially if it is working for them, but I really don't believe the HCG protocol is in your body's best interest. Having said that, GOOD LUCK my friend!
