In seeking inspiration today, these all jumped out at me. I've known (although not always practiced) that where your mind goes, the rest of you follows. If your mind is bound and determined to be focused on the goal at hand, there is very little that you can't accomplish. It will (eventually) override what the body is telling you or at least get you through that time period until the "want" or "lazy" strike is over and it gets easier until the next time.
It's been proven in my own life time and again (which is why I'm still here lol) that unless my head is right with respect to my eating and exercise, I wobble. When my head is in it, when it's my focus and my desire, when I want it more than I want the chocolate chip cookies, I succeed.
Our minds, our reactions to our circumstances, trump what is around us. You are powerful. You are strong. You have choices. What you do today is up to you. And it will carry through until tomorrow. And yet, if we screw up, we get another chance to begin again. How cool is that?
There are 2 days where changes cannot be made: yesterday and tomorrow. We live in today. Go get it and love every minute of it.
