I ate breakfast around 11 n then had a snack (which I didn't finish) but I wasn't really hungry.. I just ate because I hadn't n felt like I should. 🤔 now it's past 4 and the rest of the household is getting ready to have supper but I'm still not really feeling hungry.. I've only got 800 or so calories in today so I'm feeling like I should eat something. 🙃 this eating because I should rather than because I'm having constant cravings is a very odd sensation. is this what skinny people feel like? 😅

oooh Marianne...I'm giggling here!!{"is this what skinny people feel like?"}Honestly - I can't remember that far back. I only have to cook for myself now so I only eat when I'm hungry. I don't pay attention to the calorie totals of my meals...I watch my Sodium, Protein, Cholesterol and Sugar totals for every meal and then I cook my next meal accordingly. I love that I can input the foods that I want to cook/eat and then see what my totals are. If they're too high, I delete them and try alternatives (whatever is in my freezer, leftovers etc.) I only just started this yesterday but OMG...I couldn't finish my supper because I was too full! That hasn't happened to me in forever!! I hope that you find your happy balance to get those scale #'s down!

I'm married but decided a while back that I couldn't eat what my husband does all the time cuz he's all but a carnivore and I lean more vegetarian, and I put on 20lbs in the 1st 6 months we were living together and then yo-yo'd it back on n off for a few years before I just started doing my own thing n leaving him to his. 😏 But now that I'm paying closer attention to making sure the quality of my food is actually.. well, lol, food, lol 😅 (which has only been the past week or so) most days I struggle to get my recommended calories in.. not that I'm complaining. 😁 Lol, although I've kind of been forcing myself to eat at times because I'm genuinely not feeling hungry but I keep thinking "I should eat something" just because I haven't at a certain time of the day, or I'm way below my calorie count.. 🤔 so maybe I need to stop trying to force an eating schedule and just listen to my body when it's not in the mood, cuz so far my weight is not budging.
