So I just got my labs done today for my weight management program! Found my RDI is NOT 2000 but 1557.6! And that's only to maintain my current weight. If you are going on a diet I would strongly recommend consulting a doctor. And I missed breakfast today due to fasting for the labs.

That's strange. I was able to lose pretty effectively on about 1800 calories/day, and my starting weight was even less than yours. I only had to change to 1600 when my weight got down to around 160 lbs, because I was hauling around a lot less weight. 8lbs/week loss is pretty rapid. you might want to back it off a little.

My doc used a machine to measure what my RTI is for not having a lot of activity in my day to day life. They 8lbs thing threw me off a little... but it was two different scales. First one was at my family doctor and I was fully dressed with shoes and random stuff in my pockets. Second one was at the hospital my weight management program is at in work out clothes and no shoes. I think that had something to do with it. We'll see how the next few weeks goes.
