I had not thought of going to backup yet, but yes, macs have an excellent backup system: Time Machine.
It's quite impressive looking as well, like traveling through space and time, going back an hour at a time, & faster for further back.
I really wanted to know what & why it happened first. so;
This morning I solved the problem.
I went into Chrome's Preferences, and found and deleted the saved password for fatsecret. Now it opens up normally, and automatically logs me in, like it still has the password saved. hmmm.
I think it got corrupted somehow or somewhere.
