I went to the doctor yesterday for my annual exam. She found some fribrous tissue which she said are nonmalignant lumps. She said it runs in families. She said I should cut out my caffeine and take 400 iu's of vitamin e a day. She said I am doing great on my diet but I should probably filter my tap water since I am drinking so much of it. She also suggested I add prunes or raisins to my diet to improve regularity. I was also reading an article while waiting and found an interesting tip. Standing burns more calories than sitting, so when watching tv, talking on the phone, visiting with friend/family stand up instead of sitting down! I was floored by this simple way to improve my calories burned. Although I have to admit, it is strange to drink coffee standing up. I drank the decaf today, but it was the general foods international sugar free decaf vanilla cafe! Next thing I need to work on eliminating is the artificial sweetener.
