So, I'm adding probiotic foods this week after taking anti-biotics last week. I treated myself to a bottle of kombucha and have been taking it in small doses. Here's the question for LCHF folks. What do we think of kombucha? It is made with sugar and caffeinated tea, but from what I read, the fermentation process eats up most of the sugar and caffeine. I'm having a hard time judging whether it works on our WOE or not. Please weigh in!

So, maybe using a splash to flavor a carbonated water would work. - and get some probiotic innoculation into the system.

How about a nice creamy high fat plain greek yogurt - that's what I use. I even add a little heavy cream. Rich, creamy and great for the gut.

Erika, I drink GTS Kombucha organic & raw Gingerade. For 8 oz. it is only 7 carbs. The bottles are 16 oz. It really works for me. I am using prebiotics (Heather's tummy fiber) along side it as they both work together.
