Well, although most would say that I am doing good compared to how I used to eat I concur that I have not. The last few days I have gone way over my "medifast calories", and it's mainly because of one thing: Cheese! Oh that thing I love to eat. Well both me and my husband have been buying the string mozzarella cheese, and to our delight we have endulged more than necessary. I really go wild and have cheese parties when I purchase cheese. Nonetheless, eating 18 string cheeses is what most people do in a 2 month time period...not one evening. They were GOOD I admit, but needless to say, we had to revamp our thinking. Its like you start off good, then cheat, and all of a sudden another cheat seems acceptable...but no no no. I have to stop that in its tracks and get back to the under 1300 calories that I set for doing medifast (and really trying to be under 1000 calores).

The other issue is steaks....we simply LOVE steaks, almost as much as cheese. And eating a 1 pounder steak is NOTHING to us, but we realize that medifast accounts for eating 5 oz of that 1 pound (16oz) steak. sigh....so we have started cutting them in half....hey 8 oz of that fatty steak is much better than 16, although it is not 5...nonetheless it is a start and a change. So my whole point of this rant and rave is to say that we are readjusting our medifast diet to be closer to it rather than sooo far away to promote more faster weight loss. Cha Cha Cha....
