So I have decided to do a reset of everything. I actually had a really good discussion with my therapist about how I need to change my inner dialogue when it comes to certain tasks, which for me, includes working out and eating healthy. I need to try to start associating more positive emotions towards these and it starts with changing the words that I use with myself when it comes down to those particular things. It will definitely be challenging to do but I know that I can do it.

So these last couple of weeks have been rather challenging in the motivation department. I have recently found that I have ADD so that is a huge contributor to the motivation factor. Hopefully, I can figure a way to keep the motivation going this time around. I am still happy though that my gain isn't too bad really. So far today, I have done fairly well in terms of fasting and such. Yeah, I ate some McDonald's breakfast but that was because I went into work to help my coworker clean up her room and fix boards and such and that was her payment. Can't complain really. Anyhow...now it's trying to not only get 10K steps but get all this homework and work stuff finished before bed time. :)

I am happy with the loss and now have a better idea of how hard this lifestyle change will be. It will be worth it in the end though. I am happy that my fiance is finally on board with it all and is going to start tracking and working out with me. So...I am excited for all of these changes and will do my best to keep going.

The scale is moving in the wrong direction...*Sigh* I will not let this defeat me though. Last week started off great but then life happened. I am actually pretty excited and upbeat because we finally got our home gym set up and such. Still need a power rack but as of right now, what we have will suffice. So yeah...pretty excited to start lifting and we have an exercise bike for cardio. This week should be much better with working out because it is hard to go to the gym late at night after the kids go to bed. We already sacrifice some sleep...but yeah. I am hoping this week will be better. :)

I think I have pulled myself out of the funk that I have been in. I definitely feel recharged and ready to tackle everything. It's almost like my mind has been reset and I am going to create a vision board of things that I find inspiring and use that as a screen on my phone (either the lock screen or home screen) so I can see it every day and remember what I am working towards. Maybe with seeing it every day will help with the motivation.
