Day 23. The routine stays the same. Oatmeal and banana breakfast. I enjoy it still so no reason to change yet. 2.25 mile walk in 45 minutes. Packed lunch divided into 2 meals. 1 snack of fat free yogurt and another of 1 medium Red Delicious apple. Birthday in 2 days. No plan to drastically alter what I am doing. I do have over weight people surrounding me saying "Oh come on! A little of this and that won't hurt you!" I have been politely declining but in my head saying to myself." I don't want to be like you all anymore! Some people think it is funny that their voice is recognized in the McDonald's and Wendy's drive through. I think it is pathetic.What does anyone else think?

Day 22. Weigh in day. 2.25 mile walk in 45 minutes. Same breakfast. 268.0 What I am doing is working. I am never hungry. I break up my lunch into 2 meals. I still eat dinner at 8 pm. I just eat less calories than I burn.Today is Kiwanis day in which I go to the Golden Corral buffet once a week. The last 2 weeks it has been all steamed vegetables and 6 oz of protein. Today will be no exception. Eye on the prize.

Day 21. Oatmeal and banana breakfast. 2.25 mile walk in 45 minutes. Packed the lunch. I have been thinking about changing it up next week to fool the metabolism. I was going to do the 600kcal protein and water thing every other day for a week. Just a thought. 3rd weigh in tomorrow. I would be happy with 4 pounds. Trying to make the most out of the first 30 days. Eye on the prize.

Day 20. Oatmeal and banana breakfast . 2.25 mile walk in 45 minutes. Getting a bit easier to bend over and tie my shoes. Celebrate the small steps and accomplishments! Packing the lunch again today. The whole grain bread is baked by Publix. Truth be told it tastes like cardboard. It has been my experience that if it tastes good it is not good for the body. Food is fuel.Weigh in on Wednesday. Eye on the Prize!

Day 19. Oatmeal and banana breakfast. Walked 2.25 miles at 2.8 MPH. 46 minutes.Bought some small exercise equipment things . resistance ropes ab roller. Went to visit my mom in the neighboring town today. She immediately saw the weight loss on me. As soon as the sun goes down a little more I am going to fire up the charcoal grill for some boneless skinless chicken thighs coated in Mrs. Dash seasoning. Good stuff!. I also cut up some fresh zuccini, yellow squash, green beans and mushrooms to saute in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic and crushed red pepper. Will be enjoying a few beers while grilling. All this food and drink will put me between 1500 and 2000 calories for the day. Eye on the prize!
