Stretching...ongoing.
Taking it light today. I'm going to PT tomorrow and that is always hard work. Feel like I need a lighter day today. Have already done raised lunges 30 seconds x 3 each leg and balance tandem 90 seconds each leg. Will continue to stretch throughout the afternoon and evening.
Made shrimp today with some Old Bay...yum! Packed up RM's as he is at a job until late. I ate about 2/3 of my plate and I'm going to snack on it later. Had it with oven roasted broccoli, 1/2 cup of quinoa, and 1/4 cup of farro.

Went to Rose's Fish Market in Seabrook this morning, which is on the other side of the freeway from where I currently live. Bought some sushi quality salmon, shrimp, and catfish. Then took a walk down memory lane. I lived in Seabrook in the 1970's and moved back to the area as an adult in the 1990's (not now). The waterfront picture is from Seabrook looking at the Kemah Boardwalk, which wasn't there in the 1970's. Our house was 5 minutes from NASA, and there is a picture of the building my father worked in.
The weather was overcast, but comfortable 75 degrees. Happy memories!

Made "taco bowls" today: 1/4 cup farro, 1/2 cup quinoa, homemade pico de gallo, chicken medallions, onion, red bell pepper, cumin, chili powder, and I grated some yellow squash and snuck it in there. RM loved it. I'm determined to get him to love zucchini and squash.
2nd day of Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes.

Watching Puppy Bowl XVI. I'm in one room and RM is in the other, watching the Super Bowl. I love Puppy Bowl. All of the pups are rescued after the game!

So much easier this time with the stretches...didn't have to count anything. I actually feel like I concentrate better because my mind has nothing to wander to. RM's voice was so centering.
