I spent this week with a menu plan (which we have done for years, so we know what we need to have on hand), but not measuring, and adding in food if/when I was hungry, but making good choices. I'm a long way from maintenance, for sure, but I plan to take a week every so often and practice at maintenance, because I'm really, really trying to make lifelong changes this time. I'm very happy that I've still lost weight the last 7 days, even with that. It feels like I might - finally - be getting my act together related to what and how much I eat, and that feels really good!
