Not surprising that I've gained. Been eating anything and everything without even thinking about it. The good part is "easy come, easy go" -- but how many times have I lost this particular 10 pounds?!? Gillions.
The reason I have set my goal weight so high is that I will be swapping fat for muscle. I'm getting ready for some possible surgery that could be THE game changer for the rest of my life. Also, I have told my husband I won't be staying with him because of his negativity, so I no longer have to sweat trying to make this work. I have let it go in my heart where it counts. I cannot be mentally abused by him and still keep my focus on getting strong and healthy. It is too hard. So here we go. Glad I've got a fridge full of veggies and fruit. plan to do a juice cleanse until at least 7 lbs are gone. Preferably 10. I was down to 208. But my last weigh-in was 211.
Nothing I've said here conveys the depth of my commitment to being healed of needing to wear oxygen. But I feel it deep within. I will not be a sick old lady. I will be healthy and strong so I can be of use to myself and others. God is guiding me. Where He leads I will follow. My appreciation of What the Father did for us through His son if compelling me to study more, go deeper, allow these masterfully made bodies transform according to the pattern set at creation. Yep, that's it.

Once again, stressors at home (read you-know-who) and my own copd shoots down my best intentions. I need to find the equivalent of going cold turkey, getting clean and sober, and taking it one day at a time.
As in:
Today I won't eat anything but what I have written down ahead of time. (Never have been able to do this.

My weight is going up and down. Down below 210 then up above 210. It would be driving me crazy but it isn't. All it does is make sure I am following Atkins to the letter. It probably will take fasting to break this. All those so called experts who say it isn't how much you eat it is how much, are liars. I blame the inhaled steroid I take -- at least partly. And if I exercise the least bit hard, the next day my muscles hang on to water to help heal. This morning I took two water pills, as they are prescribed. Let's see tomorrow...
