Day six of keto:
I feel wonderful! I woke up today and even though I fasted, I didn't feel hungry at all! I ate anyway because I knew I should but I also filled up quickly. Exercise is still a bit hard but that may be due to being sore and not lack of energy. Last night I had a horrible panic attack. My heart was racing and my chest was tight for two hours. I was only at 120 bpm (resting for me is 80-100) but I was in a lot of pain and started feeling like I wanted to binge eat. I didn't! I laid down and worked through it and I feel better for it! Also this morning, I was trying to choose my outfit for tomorrow and I put on my size ten pants (I was a size 14) and they fit! I'm glad I'm dedicating myself to this. I believe I can do it! Here's to many more days of progress! I'm gonna take a nap now 😋

Day 5. Like I said I'm doing a daily journal so today let's see how I feel. Yesterday I only at 2% carbs and I had a bunch of protien. I got more sodium and a bit of potassium so I had more energy. I was able to do my workouts which was nice. However this morning I do not feel full of energy. I feel particularly tired and I don't feel it's from lack of sleep. And seeing as I can't go back to sleep (trust me I tried) I will have to wait to remedy this problem with keto butter coffee and tuna salad at 12. I'm going to do a light workout in a fasted state. Wish me luck.

Day four of keto. I think I want to keep a daily log. Having these in the public is making me feel accountable for keeping on with the diet. It's an hour until I can eat. I'm hungry but not enough that it overpowers me. Actually I'm feeling so great! I haven't had any symptoms of keto flu since the night before and honestly the surprises me because I went from a very high carb diet to cold turkey less than 20 net g of carbs. And I've been pretty good about getting healthy fats and protein and drinking a ton of water, but I'm wondering if this is my boot adjusting fast or am I getting enough nutrients to just not feel most of the symptoms? This morning I was able to workout a little bit more than the day before but it still wiped me out. Hmm... I just don't know. I am expecting to be in ketosis in two weeks. Then another week or so for my body to reach maximum efficiency. Is that to quick? I don't know everything about this diet but I seem to be progressing at a good rate.
