I gave up meat, processed sugar and chips. The meat hasn't been difficult at all. I still eat eggs, cheese and soy or almond milk, as well as fish. but the sugar is killing me. Anyone who says that sugar is not addictive must be one of those anomalies that don't really like dessert or sweet things. I know a handful of those folks, but for me, candy cookies and cake make me smile when I eat them. A nice sweet anything makes me want more and more and more. I have been doing well by replacing my junk with fruit, but it has been difficult. I am afraid if I eat one cookie that I will crave more sugar. That is usually the way it goes for me or should I say that's the way the cookie crumbles? Anywho, two months no meat, about two weeks no sweets or chips. Please keep me in your prayers, no matter what your issue may be it is difficult to stay on the straight and narrow. One day, a piece of cake will only be a piece of cake instead of the doorway to a tyraid of me stuffing my face with half a cake and candy.

I ate four donuts starting last Saturday. I had pizza, watermelon sherbet, French fries, a half of a sandwich and popcorn. Actually I ate all of those things on Saturday June 23rd and 24th. That's my confession. I got on the straight and narrow on Monday, but who knows how much damage I inflicted.
I am stressed out!!! Not that I am making excuses, but the wedding is 16 days away and I leave for the Netherlands next week July 5th. Tasks are not completed, I don't know what the heck to pack, do I have enough bras? Where are my good flat shoes?? I am going to yoga tonight. I need to regroup.

Very disappointed because I worked so hard this week, but it is a loss. I will pull myself u by the bootstraps and keep on truckin.
