Restarted WW on Monday 1/28/19 for the last time I hope. I just went through Keto eating and know it is not for me. Could not wrap my head or heart around 75% fats, 20% protein and less 5% carb way of eating. Although I did follow for a few weeks and found I wasn't hungry as much, I can't accept this as a way of eating for life. So even though WW will be slower for me to lose, I believe it is a sustainable way of eating for life because I can eat what ever I want as long as I count it. That automatically helps me make better food choices and portion control. Plus, I can eat huge salads which I love!

Yes I can admit it might seem slower but it definitely is more delicious and lifetime sustainable 😉

As long as you've found a eating program that works for you & change bad eating habits into good eating habits then go for it. Good luck 👍

It never really hurts to try a new way of eating, because you might find what works best. The important thing is to find a way of eating that is COMFORTABLE for your way of life. I read up on keto, but it just didn't suit me. I'm too much of a rebel to follow anything so tightly structured.

Keto didn't work for me either, but thankfully I found what works and I couldn't be happier. Know your body and yourself, your triggers, what you're willing to change and what not. Good luck!

I'm sort of keto-adjacent...lowering the carbs and upping the protein helped with the hunger so I won't throw that out but I can't seem to get the percentages they are looking for lol!

The diet that works is the diet that you can stick to! I’m glad you found a way of eating that is comfortable for you to maintain!

Thanks to everyone for all the support! I will be lowering my carbs and upping the protein as Katie suggested as I know carbs (processed) are my downfall. What I love about the new WW is the fact the I can have a nice size portion of lean meat and not worry about it. Feeling really good about this WOE finally!
