Ok, here's my story, and I'm stickin' to it, as they say...It's a combination of things, actually...the season changing, the holidays...I kinda lost my "mojo"...in looking around at others' journals, it appears I haven't been alone, lol...For the most part, I didn't just totally go off the deep end, although there were a few times during the holidays when...well, we all know the end of THAT sentence, I'm sure!
Anyway...I also got myself a new scale; one of those newfangled digital jobbies. Now, I knew my old scale was less than accurate, but it was easy to tell myself I weighed 135 pounds, and it was obvious I had lost a lot of weight...those size 8 jeans really were very comfortable :-) Nevertheless, the new scales told a different story...about 5 pounds worth of different story. Ok, (sigh)fine. But then! I proceeded to keep gaining until about 2 weeks ago when I reached a (recent) all-time high of 148.something (I think I blocked out the "something"). That's when I finally decided to put on the breaks. I reminded myself that I refuse to go back to almost 170 pounds! So, in the last two weeks, I've dropped about 5 pounds. It has been rather difficult to get back in the swing of eating properly, and I haven't started walking again, yet...it's too chilly for me, and I'm a wimp in that dept. :( but I do feel the urge to do it, at least, so I know as soon as it warms up a bit, I'll be back out there...
Anyway, I'm back, buddies...you all probably know I've never been a big journaler...I just don't feel the need for it, much, and don't like repeating myself day after day, lol. But I will be checking in, nonetheless, because the community of support and common struggle among us is very, very helpful! Thanks to everyone who didn't un-buddy me while I was gone...let's get our hind ends in gear, now, and reach some new (or even old) goals, ok? We can do this!
