This past month was pretty amazing. I left a very stressful job that was negative affecting my health, found a new job in a career I see myself committing to for years to come, and got legally married to the love of my life. I took a week off to get ready for the wedding and organize the reception. And the day of, I had a blast. It was a beautiful day, and I'm so happy that we got married.
I still struggle with diet mentality from a decade of dieting and calorie counting, and that was a big struggle during this past month. I felt pressure to be restrictive the week of the wedding, and then that boomeranged for the rest of the month. I've been eating out a lot and eating a lot during my feeding window. As a result, I feel bloated and have zits to contend with. I'll keep working on my balance so that I can keep working towards a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
This upcoming month, I want to relax. I'm hoping the honey and I take a mini-honeymoon since there is a 3-day weekend coming up. I want to be able to feel good in my body, not over-exhaust my gut and intestinal system, and get back to the gym. I had a bad fall while hiking on 2/16/20 - yes, right after the legal ceremony - and I've been unable to run. It's been about 3 weeks now that I've been to the gym, so I want to do that.
Goals, goals, goals. I swear. Even as I want to relax, I am still goal oriented. God help me. Lol.
So, my monthly numbers:
Last month: February 2020 Weight 144.5 lbs Body Fat 35%
This month: March 2020 Weight 145 lbs Body Fat 36%
No significant change. It seems I've gained half a pound of fat mass. Given that I've not been working out, that makes a lot of sense. Okay, FS friends. Have a beautiful week, and happy March!
