Back to 142 for my weigh in. I had a dinner out the night before last and made homemade Chinese and some sushi (I can't think of the name right now- just the little rolls) last night, although I ate mainly sushi. So, not too bad considering. TOM is about here too so my cravings have been bad. I will get to the gym today and then play basketball with the kids as they are off school these couple of days.

I had a horrible day with them yesterday and was being aware of my emotions and didn't just eat b/c I was mad. I had never really thought through that before. I had to go to the grocery store and they just all fed on each other and it was like my 6 year old was back to being a 2 year old not knowing how to behave in the store. It was really trying. I do notice now that I normally don't have to take my kids to the store, I can see the weary looks on other mother's faces and hear their stern worn out warnings. I do not miss having to take them and do not want to do it again! The thing I don't understand is I never let them just get away with stuff. They know how to act and know what is expected of them. They know they will have consequences but just decide it is better to make the bad choice sometimes. I guess that is actually a picture of a lot of adults too if you think about it. Anyway, nothing is as trying or tiring, and equally wonderful and fullfilling as motherhood.

Yipes! I guess w/motherhood you take the good w/the bad. =) I better appreciate this time alone now w/hubby before kids come into the picture. Hope you're having a better week. ((HUGS))
