Well, just 1/2 pound again today - #10 of fasting. I'm a little surprised, because I actually got a lot of exercise yesterday. I pulled the deep-rooted weeds from between and around 80 landscape tiles that comprise our picnic area (just a picnic table on top of them). I had to basically stand on my head to pull them (I can't squat because of my knees), and was in that position for a good 20 minutes. I also scooped up 1/2 of a trash bag of grass and leaves that had gotten right up next to the pool. Had my grandson yesterday all day (and overnight), so that added a measure of activity, too.
Oh well, God is in control, and I'll accept the weight loss he gives me! On a positive note, I have lost 15# in ten days. In March, I "only" lost 14.5 pounds in twelve days, so I'm ahead of where I was then.
Thankfully, I haven't had nearly as much temptation to eat this go-round as I have in the past. God has been gracious to make it very easy for me - no physical side effects, and no psychological challenges.
