I have no idea about this weight! I have been eating more than is ideal. I am on vacation and using an unfamilar scale. May or may not be accurate! So am logging a nearly 6 pound gain! I will see about this when I return home next Saturday. Hopefully I will have pulled it back somewhat.

Me too girl. I had a staycation with the husband this past week and ate and slept more than normal. So I'm well rested but 6 pounds up. Let's get back on track together!

JCordy- I am feeling like such shifting sands at the moment! I know I am eating more than normal however the scale (my son got it at a second hand store...) seems a bit wonky. At least I hope so as the weight is coming on like crazy. I will have to really clamp down starting today. Right this minute it is 8 pounds up (maybe?!?) and that is 2+ months of losing weight!!! Yikes!

Take a vacation and don't worry until you see it on your own scale. Enjoy your vacation!

while it's possible an extreme binge could net you six lbs, it's also more likely that a different scale accounts for a sizeable portion of that... Enjoy your vaca!

Enjoy your family and don't fret! You are such an amazing loser! 😁 Even if some of the weight is accurate, which I think is impossible it is fat, you will have no trouble adjusting the number when you get home. You have proven yourself to yourself!

To gain 8 pounds you would have to eat 28,000 calories more than you burn, or for one week, 4,000 excess calories per day. I'm pretty sure you are not overeating by that much. I'm betting it's the wonky scale.

Thank you Melissa and Shirfleur for your encouragement. I just got on the scales this morning and it says I gained 4 pounds yesterday. I spent literally 4 hours on a bicycle and I don't think my eating was too far out of hand! I am trusting that the scale is wonky, that I have a solid routine to follow when I get home and that I can lose whatever it is that I have gained!
