Starting day 3 of the Fat Fast. It sure is a strange thing. I am just not hungry at all but I sure would like a MIM this AM. I wonder if I do have some metabolic resistance here as everything I've read on this fast says I should lose 1-2 pounds per day and I am the same weight as yesterday. I think my fat intake was at 84% for yesterday It may be oozing out of my pores. At any rate, I will do this for two more days and then go back into Induction and see if that doesn't jumpstart everything for me. Did I mention how bad I want a MIM?
My SIL invited me for lunch today. I wonder how strange it will look to order a plain plate of 2 oz. of cream cheese! lol
I will go with her but only to visit and see how her week was. Then its off to check the bees and wrestle calves. I sure love the farm in spring.

Hmmmm, the fat fast, eh? Let me know how it works for you....I have often thought of using it to jump start my loss. Have a wonderful time with your SIL, your calves (they are so stinkin' cute), and your bees (don't get stung). Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

I'll let you know. Today is my last day. I think 3 days is plenty. If you look at my weight loss, I seem to be losing the same two pounds for the past 6 weeks so I am hoping this will get me going a little bit.

Hi, Sherill! I am not on Atkins and I'm not quite sure what a fat fast is, but I admire you sticking with it for the 3 days. I hope it gives your metabolism the boost you're looking for. You amaze me with all the farm work you do in addition to your job. I hope Jeff is doing well and will soon be back on both feet! Have a good night, friend.
